I worked for the trade for many years, honing my skills in all aspects of repair work, bow rehairing, set ups, as well as continuing making. I now like to divide my time between making, repairing and research.
Read MoreKatrin carries out restorations and repairs on violins, violas and cellos. Her specialities are neckgrafts, of which she has fitted close to eighty throughout her career. She also specialises in arching corrections, working with plaster casts. All major and minor work is undertaken in her workshop, including sound adjustments and maintenance of stringed, bowed instruments.
